After graduating from Jim Elliot, Ryan went to Pensacola Christian College in Florida, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design and advertising, as well as a minor in history.
Upon returning to California after graduation he decided to pursue criminal justice, which had interested him while in college. He put himself through a police academy and became a Galt officer. He continued to use his skills in art by serving as a composite sketch artist for the Galt Police Department.
The LaRue family currently has another son at Jim Elliot, Luke LaRue a junior honor student who is a member of the championship cross country and track teams.
